Service Bulletin #089: Upcoming Improvement - Service Bulletin Email Notifications

Originally published on 03/27/2025

What's the Issue?

We’re always looking for ways to enhance how we communicate important updates to you. To improve the speed and flexibility of our service bulletin notifications, we’re introducing the Follow functionality in our Help Center. This enhancement ensures you receive critical alerts as soon as they are published—without delay.

Who's affected?

All users who currently receive service bulletin email notifications are affected by this enhancement. If you rely on these updates for operational awareness, this change will provide a more efficient and reliable way to stay informed.

What do I need to do?

With our Follow functionality in the Help Center, you can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time, putting you in control of the notifications you receive. Once subscribed, you’ll receive email notifications immediately when a service bulletin is published—eliminating delays.

To receive notifications:

  1. Log in to the Help Center. Don't have an account yet? Check out Signing Up for the Help Center.
  2. Visit the Service Bulletins section in the Help Center
  3. Click Follow > New articles to subscribe
  4. That’s it! You’ll be instantly notified when a new bulletin is posted

Stopping notifications

If you no longer wish to receive notifications, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking Following > Unfollow on the Service Bulletin category page.

This improvement ensures faster, more reliable alerts while giving you full control over your notifications.  During a 6-month transition period, we will continue sending the old email notifications, but by October, we will fully transition to the new service bulletin notifications. We encourage you to subscribe today to take advantage of this streamlined process!

How do I request assistance?

As always, if you have questions or need any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the Avail Customer Experience Team either by submitting a case via the AvailTec Portal or for critical or high-priority cases by calling (814) 234-3394 option 1.

Thanks for partnering with Avail. We look forward to better serving you!
