What's the Issue?
Google has removed the built-in drawing tool starting with Maps JavaScript API version 3.65. This functionality was required when creating the Polygon in the detour tool. The depreciation of this feature has resulted in a non-functional detour tool.
Who is affected?
All agencies with CAD/AVL who utilize the Detour Tool through the myAvail Client.
What do I need to do?
There is no action to take from the agency’s side. This issue is escalated internally, and the Avail team is working on a solution to resolve this as soon as possible.
