Clearing the Browser Cache After an Upgrade

This article outlines the required post-upgrade steps for both ERP and CAD/AVL users. Clearing your browser cache ensures that your browser loads the latest application files and settings from the upgraded system, helping prevent login issues, display problems, or unexpected behavior when accessing ETMS.

For ERP Users Only:

  • Launch the Remote Desktop

Then, for ALL users (ERP as well as CAD/AVL):

  1. Open your browser
  2. Clear your browser cache (please follow one of the set of instructions below depending on whether you use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Google Chrome

  1. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of Google Chrome
  2. In the overflow menu, select History and then History again from the flyout menu (submenu)

  3. Select Delete browsing data
  4. For the Time Range option, select All time (which may be under the More drop-down box). Make sure that Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files are checked. Then click Delete from this device.
  5. Now you may go to ETMS to login.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of Microsoft Edge
  2. In the overflow menu, select History
  3. Select the trash can at the top of this History menu
  4. For the Time Range option, select All time. Make sure that Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files are checked. Then click Clear now.
  5. Now you may go to ETMS to login.
