Tire Stock

Overview

Navigation: ETMS > Transit Assets > Fleet Management > Tire Stock

The Tire Stock page is designed to give users a complete view and information concerning vehicle tires. Tire stock will be created from this form, thus making them available to install on vehicles. This will allow tracking such information as excessive tire wear, current location of all tires, necessary tire maintenance, treads, tire performance, etc. On this page the user can add, edit, or delete a tire or add multiple tires at once (cloning).

The user can also drill into an individual tire record by selecting it on the grid to review or update it.

NOTE: Not all Tire Tracking functionality has been migrated to the new ETMS system. The remaining features will continue to be supported through the Legacy forms. As a result, new tires should be created using the new Tire Stock card in the ETMS described in this article, while updates to existing tires, such as installation, removal, and rotation, must be performed using the Legacy Tire Change form.

Quick Filter

The user can sort by any of the column heading or use the Quick Filter option.

Quick Filter - Owned

Quick Filter - Leased

Quick Filter - Installed
Displays all tire records with the associated vehicle information in the Current Vehicle column. If a tire is installed, its vehicle details are added to the tire record, so the Current Vehicle column will always reflect the vehicle it was mounted on.

Quick Filter - Not Installed
Displays all tire records without Vehicle information, the Current Vehicle column will be blank.

Filter - Leased and Installed

Selecting Clear Filter will clear the filter and show all the tire records.

Column Filters

Users can filter tire records by Manufacturer, Size, or Status. Each of these columns includes a filter icon that, when clicked, displays a dropdown list of available options. Users can select one or multiple values using checkboxes to refine the results.

It is used to review and update key attributes of the tire, such as its status, class, mileage, tread depth, and important maintenance dates. The manufacturer, serial number, and size fields cannot be updated here. The tab also includes fields that track whether the tire has been regrooved or recapped, the current condition of the tire, and the vehicle it is currently installed on (if applicable).

History Tab

The History tab shows the full installation and removal history of the selected tire. It provides a timeline of where the tire has been used, its status at each change, and key details about each installation or removal event.

When the user clicks the Plus (+) sign next to a tire history record, the row expands to display a detailed set of fields related to that specific installation or removal event. These fields provide additional context about the condition of the tire at the time of the change, where the work was performed, and who performed it.
