The Running Times Dashboard Card provides you with overall on-time performance metrics, based on the number of on-time departures from timepoints for trips at the route level with averages based on year; meaning the data pulled to this report is averaged, it includes all schedule deployments completed within the year, and the report is year-based. A great feature of this report is that it provides you with a larger data set (annual measure) to use when analyzing trends in one place. The more data included in a sample, the more it naturally provides an increase in predictable behaviors.
This Card is in ETMS in the 'Planning & Scheduling' Product Suite. It is searchable as well:

Below the graphic illustrates metrics for one year. Hover over it to quickly see last year’s metrics for comparative analysis. Review relational target and data collection trend, set values by pressing the cog wheel. The target here is 80%. Want something different? Use the up/down arrows to adjust the metric percentage:
Hover over the percentage value for 'On-Time Performance' to quickly view last year’s metrics to compare them to the current:
Schedule Performance Over Time
On-Time Performance - Compare this year’s data collection to last. Arrow indicates OTP status. - up/down OTP metrics.
Unscheduled Layover - Review additional layover time not on the schedule for trips
Excess Run Time - Evaluate trips that consumed more time than scheduled.
Under Run Time - Evaluate trips that are completed in less time than scheduled
Heat Map - Displays on-time departure status from timepoints by route. OTP departure frequencies determine overall trend, so if you have 20,000 captured scheduled departures out of 23,000 that are on-time, your OTP will be higher. If you have 17,000 on-time departures captured out of 23,000, your on-time performance will be lower:
Route and Service Level - Notice you can use the filter on the right side for Route and Service Level (weekday, Saturday, Sunday) below:
How You Can Use the Report
Planning Analysis - Review actual drive times and layovers to determine where trips are performing differently than scheduled. The orange bar indicates the end of service timing for each route's service. Use this data to analyze trends- how is the schedule used on the road? For example, where can stop to stop drive times for trips be adjusted to provide enough time for those falling short, where can we buy time to apply to others?
