The following acronyms will be used throughout our documentation.
| ADA | Americans with Disabilities Act |
| AGC | Automatic Gain Control: This is used to compensate for the internal announcement volume in noisy vehicles. |
| APC | Automatic Passenger Count |
| Driver Change | The MDT process for allowing a new Driver/operator to log on to a vehicle without forcing the previous operator to log off. The MyAvail In‑Vehicle system will retain current service information (Schedule adherence, APC, Headsign, etc..) |
| ITS | Intelligent Transportation System |
| MDT | Mobile Data Terminal: The touchscreen monitor interface between the operator and the myAvail in-vehicle application. |
| PTT | Push-to-Talk for the operator microphone of the radio handset |
| RTT | Request-to-Talk for voice calls |
| PRTT | Priority Request-to-Talk for voice calls |
