Password Reset for myAvail.cloud users (Remote Desktop)

This article will walk you through how to reset/change your myavail.cloud account password. Passwords need to be reset at least every 90 days.

To reset your MyAvail.cloud account password, visit Office 365 Login | Microsoft Office and Select 'Sign In'.

Enter your MyAvail.cloud account email address and click ‘Next’.

Enter your expired password and select ‘Sign in’.

You will now need to update your password. Enter your old password and new password twice, select 'Sign in'.

Now that you have updated your MyAvail.cloud account password, you can launch the ETMS remote app. Signing in using the password you just updated.

OneDrive and Email Password Update

Anytime a user's myAvail.cloud account password is changed, the One Drive must be signed back into.

Click on the System Icon Tray and look for the little blue cloud. There might be a little red X on it or a spinning blue circle.

Click on the cloud to open it. You will be prompted to Sign in. Please click Sign in and do so using your myAvail.cloud account and updated password.

After Signing in, Click on the ‘Open Folder’ and the File Explorer window from the Remote Desktop should open. If the One Drive is signed in and syncing then the following ‘Status’ column will be seen in the One Drive.

This status column confirms that the One drive is signed in and syncing. This needs to be visible for all users, so that the files from each user are moved to the cloud and then as long as the other user is also signed in and syncing the files will be visible from the cloud.

Some users are setup to have the One Drive on their local machine as well. Any users that have this setup will see an additional blue cloud in the task bar near the system icon tray and it should also be signed in. When hovering over the blue cloud this should reference Avail Technologies and not the users agency account. This can be verified using the same steps previously outlined.

Email Password Update

Users who email out of ETMS, with the exception of Payroll Earning Statements, will need to update their email password in ‘My Profile’ in ETMS.

Click on ‘Settings’, then enter the new password in the Update Email Password, as shown below, then click ‘Reset’.
