Historical Universal Analytics (UA) Data
You will not be permitted by Google to delete the old UA property because it will now be tethered to the new GA4 property. However, your historical UA data will not be ported (and will not be capable of being ported) from the old UA property to the new GA property. You will only be able to view the historical data for 6 months before it will be deleted permanently by Google.
Please read this Support article at Google for more information about this: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/11583528?hl=en
