Overview
The PM Forecast & Checklist page is designed to give users ability to generate inspection reports with options to create WOs, including Parts Lists and/or Inspection Items for all asset types.
Entering Parameters
To generate a list the user must select the following parameters:

Location – select from the dropdown a location available in the system, e.g., Main Garage, On Road, Facilities.

Asset Type – select from the dropdown an asset type available in the system, e.g., C – Components, E – Equipment, F – Facilities.
Selections

Include Sub Assets – check this box to include all sub-assets in the report results grid.

Include Forecast – check this box to include forecasted items in the report results grid. When selected, the All Inspections box is automatically checked and the Inspection ID field becomes inactive.

All Inspections – check this box to include all inspection types in the report results grid. When selected, the Inspection ID and Due Within fields become inactive.

Inspection ID – select from the dropdown an Inspection ID available in the system. This field becomes inactive when All Inspections or Include Forecast is selected.

Sort by – select the method by which the report should be sorted, e.g., Miles, Hours, Days.

Due Within – enter the “Due Within” threshold value.
Asset/Component/Vehicle PM Options

All Assets/Components/Vehicles – check this box to include all assets/components/vehicles in the report results grid. When selected, the Component/Vehicle Number, Asset Class, and Asset Sub Class fields become inactive.

Include Defects – check this box to include defects in the report results grid.
- Include Tires – check this box to include tires in the report results grid.

Component/Vehicle Number – select from the dropdown a component number available in the system.

Asset Class – select from the dropdown an asset available in the system.

Asset Sub Class – select from the dropdown an asset sub-class available in the system.
- From Fleet – select from the dropdown a from fleet option available in the system.
- Through Fleet – select from the dropdown a through fleet option available in the system.
Selecting Reset clears all parameters.
Selecting Start will open the Generate Preview window to confirm all the selections. Selecting Start again will generate the results.
Generate Report Results Grid
The following parameters were selected and produced the following inspection results.
Location - Facilities, Asset Type - Components. Include All.
Location - On Road, Asset Type - Vehicle.
Quick Filter
The user can sort by any of the column headings or use the Quick Filter option.
Quick Filter - PM Due
Quick Filter - PM Past Due
Filter - Work Order Assigned
Selecting Clear Filter will clear the filter and show all the inspection records.
Search
The user can layer the Search feature on top of the Quick Filter options to hone in on specific inspection record. When the user enters a value in the Search field, the system will search by Asset Number and Inspection Description.

Inspection Record Expanded
When the user clicks the “+” icon next to a record, the system expands the row and displays a detailed panel containing additional information. These fields give the user deeper insight into mileage, hours, inspection history, and forecasted maintenance values.
Generate PMs
To generate PMs select Generate PMs. The Create PM Work Orders confirmation window will come up and summarize the selected filtered details and show the amount of PM WOs that will be generated.
This mechanism helps prevent the automatic creation of a large number of PM WOs by allowing users to first review the total and then explicitly initiate the process by clicking Start.
Open Work Orders
To open a WO right click on the inspection record and select Open Work Order Record. The WO record will open in a separate tab.
Open Employee Assignment
To open an Employee Assignment right click on the inspection record and select Open Employee Assignment. The Work Order Assignment page will open in a separate tab.
Export
To export the results grid into Excel spreadsheet, select Excel Export. If the grid was filtered, the Excel Export option will export all records.
Security Functions and Permissions
The Permission that governs the Tire Stock form is in ETMS > HR > Positions > Edit Position section and is located under the same ETMS hierarchy as the Tire Stock form: Transit Assets > Maintenance Management > Preventative Maintenance > PM Forecast & Checklist.
